Sending queries through Mailing Lists are more common in USA then in Sweden. In Sweden it's just a few mailing Lists. Two of those are: SWE-SKR-FALKOPING and SWE-SKARABORG.
They are for persons who are intressted in genealogy and specially in the three areas Falköping district (see the list) and Skaraborg County. Today Skaraborg, Älvsborg and Bohus län are in the same county Västra Götaland, but that is quite new so in genealogy there is still Skaraborg and Älvsborg you do genealogy in.
The language on the lists are in Swedish and English. This as it has to be open for every one who are intressted in genealogy and the areas. Maybe by that contacts can be made between relatives. If you have trouble to understand, please send a mail to the group you have joined and tell that you need a translation.
